Fun Dog Show to be staged in Town Square
Posted on Tuesday 3rd May 2011 at 11:30 pm by SH (Editor)A Fun Dog Show is to to take place this Sunday (8th May) in Bradley Stoke’s Town Square.
Organised by the Bristol Dog Action Welfare Group (DAWG) and sponsored by the Willow Brook Centre, the show includes a total of 14 classes, ranging from “best puppy” to “dog the judge would most like to take home”.
The show runs from 11:30am to 3:30pm, with registration open from 10:30am.
There will be cups for best in show, reserve best in show, best puppy, best veteran & best greyhound/lurcher.
Rosettes will be awarded down to to fifth place and there will be prize cards for owners and goodies for the dogs.
All proceeds from the show will benefit DAWG’s greyhound and lurcher rescue work.
A similar show in 2010 attracted 182 dogs and raised over £800 for the charity.
