Bradley Stoke Judo Club have had some recent success as a couple of their players have recently travelled to Portugal to compete in the European Cup.
This was a very successful competition for them, as both of the players that went to the event came back with medals. Five times British champion Pete Miles came home with a silver medal; the other competitor, Lele Nairne, also medalled and came home with a bronze.
After the Portugal performance they headed off to the Czech Republic where the competitors also showed a strong performance before heading to the next competition abroad in Lithuania, where they will travel on Friday, to compete in the Junior Cup in the age above (Under 21) to get a feel of the competition for when they move up an age group in the near future.
