Gok Wan models Specsavers' Red Nose Day comedy glasses.Red Nose Day 2015 is set to offer more than just Red Noses this year. Bright red comedy glasses with hair raising eyebrows, as modelled by the fabulous Gok Wan are also coming to Bradley Stoke.

Visitors to Specsavers located in the Willow Brook Centre can follow in the footsteps of Gok Wan and make their faces “funny for money” with Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses in small and large sizes, for just £3 with £1 donated to Comic Relief.

Ed Stanleigh, store director of Specsavers Bradley Stoke, says:

“As well as selling the Red Nose Day glasses, we are planning three weeks of fundraising fun to help raise as much money as possible. Comic Relief does such great work and we’re all looking forward to making our faces funny for money to help the cause.”

Staff will kick things off on Saturday 14th February by holding a red and white themed day in store, selling homemade cakes and carrying out specs MOTs (cleaning and adjustments). Over the weekend of 28th February and 1st March, the team will be having a PJs and slippers day before rounding the fundraising off on Friday 6th March by taking on a spinathon wearing wacky clothes.

Specsavers in Bradley Stoke has joined Specsavers stores nationwide to support Comic Relief to help poor and vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.

Whether it’s at home, work or school, the public are being encouraged to make their faces “funny for money” this Red Nose Day, which takes place on Friday 13th March.
