Ladies’ football team to be launched by BSYFC

Bradley Stoke Youth FC (BSYFC) and the development of girls’ football in the local area just keeps growing with over 90 girls currently playing football in the Bristol Girls League. The teams are all playing well and enjoying their football. The weather in January has been very poor with many matches being cancelled due to the pitch conditions.

Some of the age groups in the league have been split into two divisions to help with the development of the girls’ teams and trying to match teams in a division with equal abilities.

Due to the success of the girls’ football, we are now starting a new women’s team called Bradley Stoke Ladies FC. So any female aged 16 years or older (there is no upper age limit) who is interested in playing football can join up. We will also accept 15-year-olds to come and train with the team, however, they cannot play in league matches until they are 16 years old.

The club will be built on the ethos of the girls’ teams, where fun and friendship are the top priorities. So if you are interested in developing your football skills, improving your skill set, want to improve your fitness levels or just want to come and give it a try, then please contact Martin Lee at mlee1@btopenworld.com or mobile 07785 384618.
