Prints of an incredible drawing of a mask-wearing nurse created by a Bradley Stoke art student using the word ‘hero’ repeated thousands of times are now available to order in exchange for a donation to a local NHS charity. The original ‘hero’ drawing was created in April 2020, at the peak of the UK’s coronavirus emergency, by Jessica Willcox-Drew, 18.

Petition launched after Holy Trinity serves notice on private after-school club
A Bradley Stoke primary school has come under fire for serving notice on a commercial after-school club provider at the height of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Bradley Stoke Wise Owls Club, established in the town since 2014, has been operating at Holy Trinity Primary School since April 2019 but is now being forced out as the school intends to start its own provision.
