Supermarket chain Tesco has begun rolling out soft plastic recycling points to all its UK stores following a successful trial that began in March 2021 and included the Extra store in Bradley Stoke. The types of item collected are listed as: Any plastic bag; Crisp packets; Food & pet pouches; Plastic wrappers; Any plastic film.

LETTER: More vandalism at Jubilee Green play area
“We found broken glass bottles used for Molotov-looking cocktails smashed over the play area, fireworks casings and rocket boxes, food and energy drinks litter strewn all over the playground. The bin by the undercover seating area had been ripped out and upended, with the concrete base smashed.”

Customers of the Tesco Express convenience store at Baileys Court in south Bradley Stoke have complained of being poorly informed about a near four-week temporary closure of the shop that began on Sunday afternoon (17th October 2021).
