Thornbury FM becomes GlosS FM

Thornbury community radio begins transmissions with increased coverage area

Local community radio station Thornbury FM has begun its latest month-long broadcasting period using a re-positioned transmitter that extends its coverage as far as Bradley Stoke. The station currently broadcasts for two 28-day sessions a year, but is campaigning for a permanent broadcasting licence that would allow it to transmit throughout the year.
