Another big crowd for Festival Saturday

Fine weather once again drew a large crowd to Saturday’s Community Fair at Bradley Stoke’s Jubilee Centre. 2010 Community Festival gets underway today

The 2010 Bradley Stoke Community Festival gets underway at 9am today (Friday) with a coffee morning, table top sale and children’s entertainment at the Jubilee Centre in Savages Wood Road. Councillors to inspect Wheatfield MS therapy centre site

Councillors on South Gloucestershire’s (SGC’s) Development Control (West) Committee are to visit the site of a proposed MS therapy centre off Wheatfield Drive on Friday morning (11th June). The site visit, scheduled for 9:45am, has been arranged after Bradley Stoke SGC Councillor Brian Hopkinson “called in” the planning application “in order to allow members to consider the highway safety issues”.

Wheatfield Primary School rated “good” by Ofsted inspectors

Bradley Stoke’s Wheatfield Primary School has been rated “good” by Ofsted inspectors, who visited the school last month. The team of five inspectors observed a total of 25 lessons at the 399-pupil school, which is located in Wheatfield Drive, off Brook Way.
