Anyone else having trouble with the noise coming from a first floor flat as you enter Hornbeam Close on the right?
We live opposite and can hear their shouting and music blaring until dawn.
Complete lack of respect for anyone.
Cheers, HC1

A Bradley Stoke woman has admitted fraudulently claiming more than £45k in expenses from her employer, reports the Bristol Evening Post.
Helen Baggaley, of Champ Sur Marne, admitted three charges of fraud by abuse of position when she appeared before Bristol magistrates yesterday. She also admitted a further 117 similar offences.
The 32-year-old made the fraudulent claims when she was working as a personal at the Ministry of Defence establishment at Abbey Wood.
She told police she had spent the money on treating herself, her boyfriend and family to holidays, laptops and iPods.
Magistrates sent the case to Bristol Crown Court, where Baggaley is due to be sentenced on Thursday 12th April.

A man who terrorised his next-door neighbours in Stanshaws Close, Bradley Stoke, has been given a two-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to possessing an offensive weapon and affray.
Jason Hynam, 33, described in court as “the neighbour from hell”, was captured on CCTV trying to break into the home of Mohammed Gaffori, his wife and baby.
Mr Gaffori said he had lived in “constant fear” and said of the experience: “I would not wish it on my worst enemy”.
Bristol Crown Court was told that on one occasion Hynam, who is being treated for a severe drink problem, told Mr Gaffori and his wife: “I give you a few months to leave or I will make your life hell.”

Sliproads that connect the M4 to the M5 within the Almondsbury Interchange are to be closed overnight on seven nights in March.
Tonight (Friday 2nd) will see the connections from the M4 eastbound to the M5 northbound/southbound closed from 10pm until 6am tomorrow.
On three further nights in March – 3rd/4th, 1oth/11th and 17th/18th (all Saturday night through Sunday morning) – sliproads from the M4 in both directions to the M5 in both directions will be closed.
Diversions will be in place for M4 traffic wishing to join the M5.
The closures are part of an £88.6m project to create a ‘managed motorway’ scheme around the M4/M5 interchange, in which speed limits are dynamically controlled and traffic is permitted to use the hard shoulder at peak times.
Work on the M4 is expected to be completed by December 2012 with the M5 portion of the scheme scheduled for completion in spring 2013.

Local MP Jack Lopresti recently visited the Leisure Centre and Library in Bradley Stoke to view the facilities and meet managers at the Circadian Trust, which runs leisure facilities across South Gloucestershire.
The Leisure Centre has grown over the years from very small beginnings, and now includes Bradley Stoke Library, a hairdressers and a café, in addition to the swimming pool, fitness studio and health club. The Trust has utilised its meeting rooms for community groups, outreach projects and fitness work such as yoga, and are finding that the site has become a well-used local resource.
Mr Lopresti said:
“I was very impressed with the efforts the Trust has made to put the Leisure Centre at the disposal of the local community in Bradley Stoke. It has become a wonderful resource for residents to visit for fitness, recreation and leisure, and is an example of what can be achieved with public buildings with imaginative and proactive management.”

The raised zebra crossing is now finished, and what an utter waste of money.
I stood and watched for a few minutes on Friday 17th February and not one driver even slightly slowed down.
I’m sure we all knew it wouldn’t work (except the Council).
The real answer is a light controlled crossing, however, it is only normally used by pedestrians for about an hour in the mornings and the same in the afternoons, five days a week during school terms.
