Waste and recycling
From Monday 25th December 2023 until Friday 12th January 2024, your normal collection days will change.

From Monday 15th January 2024 collections will be back to normal.
The Sort It recycling centre at Little Stoke will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The site will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve. On all other days, the site will be open as normal.
Recycling tips
How to recycle your real Christmas tree (SGC)
Wrapping paper and cards without glitter, foil or plastic can be recycled. Use the scrunch test for wrapping paper – if it stays crunched, recycle it. If it springs back, reuse it or put it in the black bin.
Recycle brown paper from parcels with cardboard. Put extra card in a cardboard box (no larger than your recycling box). Take very large carboard boxes to a Sort It recycling centre.
There is a collection point for soft plastic and plastic film at the Tesco Extra store in Bradley Stoke. See: Tesco Extra store leads the way on soft plastic recycling.
Bradley Stoke Town Council
The town council office at The Jubilee Centre, Savages Wood Road, will close at 12noon on Friday 22nd December 2023 and reopen at 8.30am on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
