Bradley Stoke’s Pets at Home store celebrates its first birthday this weekend, Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th November, with a range of special events that includes:
- Free balloon modelling
- Free kids’ colouring competition to win a fish tank
- Charity “guess the name of the rabbit” competition to win £25 in vouchers (£1 a go)
- Free pet workshops
On Saturday, the Bristol Dog Action Welfare Group (DAWG), Pets at Home’s nominated charity, will be collecting outside the store.
The shop first opened its doors to the public on Friday 6th November 2009, when ‘Albert’, an eleven-week-old Jack Russell puppy, collected £150 in Pets at Home gift vouchers for winning The Journal’s keenly-contested ‘star pet’ competition.
