The Journal is pleased to announce that Kasia Bedkowska is the lucky winner of our exclusive prize draw to win a year’s free membership at the Anytime Fitness gym at Bradley Stoke’s Willow Brook Centre.

The free-to-enter prize draw was featured in the May 2018 issue of the Bradley Stoke Journal magazine (and also on our website), and the winner’s name was independently drawn out of the hat by a member of staff at the Willow Brook Centre.

Kasia, a working mum who lives in Bradley Stoke, said she was delighted to find out she had won. The news came as quite a surprise as she had forgotten about entering the competition several weeks earlier.

Speaking after she had been presented with her prize by Anytime Fitness club manager Lewis Erskine, Kasia said she had visited a gym a few times with her husband but had never been organised enough to make it worthwhile becoming a member because of her busy lifestyle.

She currently keeps fit through swimming and going cycling with her family and says she is looking forward to using the facilities at Anytime Fitness Bradley Stoke, especially during the school holidays.

Anytime Fitness is located on the first floor of the town square shops and offices, above KFC.

The free prize draw was featured in the May 2017 issue of the Bradley Stoke Journal magazine, and the winner’s name was independently drawn out of the hat by a member of staff at the Willow Brook Centre.

Emma, a mum of two who lives in Bradley Stoke, said she was delighted to find out she had won.

Speaking after she had been presented with her prize by Anytime Fitness club manager Lewis Erskine, Emma said:

“I’ve never been in a gym in my life, and never used any gym equipment, so I’m feeling a little nervous, if I’m honest.”

“For the last two years, I’ve been thinking that I ought to do something to get fit. Now, I have no excuses!”

She added that she took part in some long distance running when at school, but has “done nothing since”. She anticipates using her newly acquired gym pass “at least twice a week”.

Emma’s nerves were soon put at rest by Lewis, who gave her a tour of the facilities at the 24-hour gym and arranged a personal induction session.

Anytime Fitness is located on the first floor of the town square shops and offices, above KFC.

Prize draw winner Natasha receives her Anytime Fitness membership key

Prize draw winner Natasha Thwaites (left) receives her membership card from Chloe Depledge, club manager at Anytime Fitness Bradley Stoke.

The Journal is pleased to announce that Natasha Thwaites is the lucky winner of our exclusive prize draw to win a year’s free membership at the Anytime Fitness gym in Bradley Stoke.

The free prize draw was featured in the May 2015 edition of the Bradley Stoke Journal magazine and on our website and the winner’s name was drawn out of the hat by a third-party independent of Anytime Fitness and The Journal.

Natasha, a mum of three who lives in Bradley Stoke, said she was surprised but delighted to win the prize.

Having been a member of another local gym until a couple of years ago, she decided to cancel her membership and buy fitness equipment to use at home instead. However, the plan didn’t really work out, because she found that there were too many distractions at home.

“The momentum just wasn’t there. At home, it’s too easy to stop the workout after just a few minutes,” she said.

She had recently been talking about joining a gym again and says the 24-hour opening at Anytime Fitness is ideal for her lifestyle, as her husband works shifts and she is “a bit of a night owl” herself.

Aiming to keep fit for “general wellbeing”, Natasha plans to use the gym around three times a week, either late at night with her husband, or during the day, when their children are at school.

Anytime Fitness is situated on the first floor of the Town Square complex, above Costa Coffee, Greggs, Taylors Estate Agents and KFC. Access is via a door in the passageway between KFC and Harvester.
