A colourful Royal Wedding street party held in Bradley Stoke’s Garrett Drive has raised over £250 for a local breast cancer charity. Around 70 residents and friends attended the party on the afternoon of the Royal Wedding (Friday 29th) and the money was raised from a tombola stall and competitions such as “guess the number of sweets in the jar”

Broadband Minister Ed Vaizey, in town last week to help launch the Conservatives’ local election manifesto, met officials at South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) to “discuss options” for improving the area’s broadband speeds.
