Expenses claimed by Filton and Bradley Stoke MP Jack Lopresti “soared by nearly 30% in 2011” compared to the previous year, according to a report in the Thornbury and Yate newspaper ‘The Gazette’. Bradley Stoke Town Council (BSTC) has received a petition from a group of electors calling on it to provide allotments for local residents, as required by the Small Holdings and Allotments Act 1908.
