South Gloucestershire Council Services

Refuse collections will be made up to three days later than usual during the Christmas and New Year period. The first collections after Christmas Day will be as follows:

Normal collections will resume week commencing Monday 14th January 2013.

The SORT IT! Centre at Little Stoke will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.  On all other days, the site will be open as normal.

First Bristol will be operating Bank Holiday services on Monday 4th & Tuesday 5th June 2012.

South Gloucestershire Council Services

Waste and recycling in South Gloucestershire will be collected as normal during the Bank Holidays of Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th June.

Collection times may vary in order to avoid street parties or similar events, so it is important that all waste and recyclables are put out for collection by 7am on the correct day.

Residents organising a street party can contact the council on 01454 868 000 if their event falls on their scheduled collection day, and every effort will be made to service their road before street party preparations begin.

Additional waste outside wheeled bins can be taken to the nearest SORT IT!* Centre, which will be open as normal.
